As the post indicates, I am hoping someone might know who the parents of Annetge Coenen, wife of Louris Maertensz. Croon (17th century Haarlem) would be.
For context, Annetge Coenen, wife of Louris Maertensz. Croon were the parents of the following children: Cornelis, Lijsbeth, Trijntie, Coenraet, and Jan.
There are a few pages, but in the 1640 record, I learned the name of Engel Coensz's wife: Balichgen Siericxsdochter. Engel may be a good candidate as the father for one of my other ancestors Coen Engelszn. Please note Coen Engelszn? was a witness to his niece's baptism in December 1673:
Can't quite make out the name of the child but it looks like the child was possibly named for her grandmother? So far, no clues about Engel's sisters being baptismal witnesses.

Hello Steve,
The baptism on 9 december 1673 is of Baligië, daughter of Willem Aelbertssen and Trijntie Engels. The father from Spaarnwoude (now part of Haarlem) and the mother from Spaarnwouderlie and they both now live in Spaarnwouderlie. Baligië was born on the same day. The godfather was Coen Engelsz. her sister. I am having doubts about the Coen part. It may be Corn[elia]. Which makes more sense as Coen is a boys name and there is no female equivalent. Coentje could be a girls name, but I don't recollect ever coming across it.
And regarding Jasper's remark of 26 nov. 23:21: the place name is definitely Schoten.
You raise a valid point about the godparent for Baligië, daughter of Willem Aelbertssen and Trijntie Engels. Maybe a scibal error or an unidentified family member? I'm at a loss here.
Regards,
Steve
P.S. Still hunting for Annetge Coenen. Thanks for the clarification on Schoten. That's where my late Uncle Simon was born.
To find parents of a person you often have to list all offspring for at least two generations with all witnesses and other associated people with the person in question. In an easy case the parents may act as a witness somewhere. But quite often they are already dead or don't live nearby. It has been helpful for me in the passed to investigate the witnesses that had no apparent connection to either husband or wife. These witnesses turned out to be connected through various births and marriages with the family in question. In other words: to go streight back in time, you often have to make a detour.
So, can you provide us a parenteel (I am not sure what the word is in English) for Annetge Coenen and Louris Maertensz. Croon?
By chance, I stumbled across an entry in the Spaarnwoude records, and found a marriage record for one Coen Engelsz and Trintje Cornelis, dated 20 May 1607:
