-Pieter Wolters, 23 jaar, timmerman

Misschien oom en tante van Pieter? Of een andere Pieter Wolters?  

Maar Johan zei ook dat Pieter emigreerde tussen 1855-1860 naar Amerika. De Pieter Wolters in Philadelphia is op 9 Augustus 1847 aangekomen.

Ik zoek gegevens over mijn oom Johannes Cornelis Koudijzer, geb. 24-04-1899 te Maassluis, overleden 14-02-1957 te New York. LAATSTE ADRES IN 1957: HUDSONSTREET 335 HOBOKEN NEW YORK.

Johan was zeeman, o.a. bij de Royal Rotterdam Lloyd (Sibajak) en vele andere. Hij is in ongeveer 1936/37 'van de boot gestapt' en heeft zich in Amerika gevestigd. Waarschijnlijk is hij daar getrouwd met een Duitse (?) vrouw die hem later in de steek liet.

Op internet heb ik vele lijsten van passagiers/crew gevonden waarop zijn naam (op verschillende manieren gespeld) staat vermeldt maar persoonlijke gegevens heb ik nergens kunnen traceren. U bent mijn laatste 'strohalm'...

Ik ben op zoek naar Jakobus Balhuizen, geboren 1835 in Oude Pekela. Hij woonde/werkte in Philadelphia in 1875. Zoek een huwelijk, census of overlijden. Zijn naam zal wel anders geschreven worden, maar hoe dat weet ik dus niet. Ik vermoed omstreeks 1852, maar zeker ben ik niet. Als u iets zou kunnen vinden zou geweldig zijn!

Aanvulling vorig bericht (heb iets teveel tekst weggeknipt zie ik): tijdstip van emigratie omstreeks 1852 vermoedelijk.

Ik zoek ook nog gegevens over Elena Sophia Balhuizen en haar nazaten:

Elena Sophia Balhuizen (geb Ezinge 1868- overl Kalamazoo 1943?) x Johannis Heere Egberts (geb Hedel 1867 - overl 1924 Kalamazoo). Zij emigreerden met 4 kinderen (uit een eerder huwelijk van Johannis) naar Amerika.

Samen kregen zij nog 2 kinderen in Amerika:

- Corneal William Egberts  (geb 1904) x Alida Leona Besterveldt. Zij kregen 4 kinderen: Elaine Audrey Egberts, Johan Anthony Egberts, Larry James Egberts, Shirley Eloise Egberts.

- Jeannette Egberts (geb 1907) x Ed Dekker of Decker. Zij kregen 3 zoons: Ed, William en Harold Dekker.

Elena Sophia hertrouwde tussen 1924 en 1928 met Peter J Stadt.

Zijn er nog adresgegevens te achterhalen? Van Corneal en Jeannette heb ik alleen een geboorte jaar, geen plaats. Verder is alle info welkom, ook over de kinderen van Corneal en Jeannette en of er nog levende nazaten zijn.
